a friend of mine is in the process of extracting from MHRB using the norman method. He just pulled the naptha from the basified bark and it has and off white yelowish color. it has never come out this color before and he is wondering if he should wash the pulls with distilled water or is it still good to go?
So when you evaporate the naptha, and crystallize to purify your product, how do you get the small remains of naptha out of that? Im assuming re-crystallization after that would suffice in ridding your product of any trace or small amounts of naptha left in there, thus resulting in a purer form of product. Note : cuts or impurities especially of solvents are more harmful to your body than the drug itself, whether its dex, cocaine, or anything. Thats what eats the body up, in combination with the drug your body needs to be hydrated and solvents will dry your bodys fluids up easily and quickly. Resulting in not such a good high, unless you like dry mouth and sick feeling, while being high, and your body fighting to do more than digest the drug. Remember, the longer and slower your crystals form the better, to much solvent and they wont crystalize properly or at all, to little and they will crystalize to fast, and not very well. the colder and longer the bigger your crytals form and easier they are to handle.
lsdmike said it right, it's fine/ the yellowish color doesnt make it any less potent. if you want whiter crystals, don't leave the naptha in the basified MHRB as long next time and do multiple pulls. DIGITAL3... you don't have any "small remains of naptha" in your DMT. you let it dry and there you have it. if your trying to smoke crystals still wet with solvent...welll..that'd be kinda dumb. You use naptha to recrystalize. Do an extraction you will learn much! it's not rocket science...
he ended up, letting it reduce to just under 1/4 cup and threw it in the back of the frez. after 5 days a true snow globe. ended up doing 2 recryis using new naptha. they are bright white total yeild of about 3 grams. wish i had pics but i have no camera as of now. damn shitty job and small paychecks...
