People just don't get it

I am so frustrated, I am in college and my two room mates want to kick me out of our dorm because I am a stoner...but the thing is I don't have it in my dorm and I do not smoke that much. They do not like that I have quote "trippy" posters and they think it reflects badly on them. They claim to be open minded and one says she is a total hippie but they both are preppy bitches who lie to me and try to tell on me and are generally fucking up my life. please tell me am I in the wrong should I take down the trippy posters and just pretend I am a preppy college girl talking about clothes and boys and shit....I don't think so ...its just I wish they could just relax and not look at me like a freak all the time

 

Well if the posters are in your space you can honestly tell them to fuck off and stop bitching about other peoples lives.

 

what kind of posters?

do they clearly reference drugs? like a picture of a mushroom or anything? then she might be offended, in which case you should probably take them down.

thats messed up, ur space, ur posters, ur shit, they can fuck off. there is no one i hate more in the world than preppy people. i hate them more than wiggers even. i dont know what it is but i can barely stand to be around them. i dont know anything about college though or if u can switch dorms and stuff like that, but if u can i would strongly suggest that. and by the by if ur not bringing pot any where near the dorm u are in the right imo. but i suppose they have as much of a right to be preppy as u have a right to be a stoner, so the kind thing to do would be to try to come to a compromise, but whatever u do dont conform for them.

 

Keep smoking weed its the best thing to do in that situation.. as long as your not putting them in danger of prosecution or smoking in your room they should leave you alone..

switch dorms next semester. fuck them, they can deal with it. as long as your not smoking next to them in your dorm, then they shouldn't say shit? real friends don't try to make you into a person you aren't.

 

:S if i had some tragic tale that involved drugs (specifically mushrooms), i would not want to see said drugs plastered all over the wall.

although it is "her" space, she still shares it with someone in VERY close quarters. pissing her roommate off more won't help anything.

but then the OP said she did take down her pot leaf poster. so now everything SHOULD be ok, because i doubt they have something against the rainbow.

 

I would suggest that you find some other roomates. If they are pissing you off then fuck em.

 

That really sucks. Don't take their shit. Try to rationalize with them as well, they may just be brainwashed and not know any better.
