hey everyone, im new to posting here but really experienced with dxm and other things. So i was wondering what you all think about mixing say 300-400mg of dxm with 300mg of diphenhydramine together. I usually do 600- 1000 mg of dxm by its self and i usually do 500 to 600 mg of diphenhydramine but i always wondered what would it be like if they were mixed Thanks, Adam
Having done both seperately like you, but not together, I think that the diphenhydramine would just make you pass out after an hour or 2. I imagine you would be beyond mashed though, to the point where you would want to be extremely careful what your setting is, ie, at home, no parents, with a friend maybe. You would be unable to function at even a basic level. You might even do things like wet yourself. Just me guessing though .
I think that would just be over the top man. I definitely wouldn't advise this combination without some sort of trip sitter. Post back though if you do decide to go forth with it, just PLEASE be careful. From what I have read, diphenhydramine is a scary and confusing trip, it's not really a trip, it's just like you delirious, so I personally haven't tried it, so I can't comment on the combo. I would think you would be completely out of it, and any good insights and trip memories you have from the DXM will be lost through the confusion of all that diphenhydramine.
Do you have any info you can post to back this up? I just don't see the correlation between this combo and serotonin syndrome? Not saying it's incorrect, but I like learning everything I can.
they both are metabolized by the P450 enzyme CYP2D6. i would assume taking both at the same time would complicate shit cause the enzyme would break them down slower. if you do try though, start of with dosages MUCH lower than usual. at least 25% of each of the normal doses. i probably wouldn't do it though. =/ just my 2 cents.
ya im still thinking but meat wagon..can u explain more on that syndrome..i did a quick google search..and nothing. But If i do end up doing it..it will be in alot lighter dosage then normal..i can always add more i can suptrack how much i took. But im going to go get the pills right now, ill be back tonight

Basically anything that is broken down by the same enzyme (CYP2D6) So since MDMA/Ecstasy is there so should all amphetamines even though they're not on that list.

im going to go ahead and put that list in the sticky along with some other things you shouldn't mix with DXM. pot is the only thing worth mixing with DXM anyway..
that sounds pretty crazy. My Diphenhydramine dose(300 mg) was somewhat dissapointing, but if mixed with dxm that would be quite some trip.
