Yo Hip peeps, I'm looking for good soil to grow my Marijuana. This woud be my 3rd attempt. I want soil that can be used from seedling right the way through to havest. I don't want to transplant. I'd rather use nute I tried Bio bizz soil last time and the plants died because they were other nuted. I should of gone with the light mix I'm guessng?. I treid using soil from my back garden and it never flowerd. So this time I want to get everything right. Please I don't want to get this wrong again so recommendations please??? I'm looking at Bio bizz light soil right now. Would that work? without over nuting my plants? Please any advice would be much appreciated Peace
There are lots of soil choices out there... for me the easiest route has been to go soilless with pro-mix... It's a basically inert medium, that looks like soil, but has little to no nutrients added... a sort of bridge between soil and hydro... you choose how much (and what) to feed the plants based on the nutrients you add at watering... I also amend with some guanos and earth worm castings for good measure but that's not necessary, it does help though... good luck!...
I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest with some lime added. For seedlings I amend it with 1/3 pro mix because it is so hot. I transplant to larger pots three times (20oz cup, 1g, 3g) and add nutes during flowering. I also add mineral matrix every couple weeks. 0
Any good qualitie loam based soil no2 with added john innous will do. Mix 4 soil to 1 part perlite and half vermiculite. Yep think everybodys had that trouble before when buying seedling or cutting type soil.
we swear by ocean forrest in tis neck of the woods. light warrior is goood for establishing roots. i like to mix one bag of light warrior to everytwo bags of ocean forrest. i also add jersey green sand, bone meal, a lil pearlite, and nemotoads. i could pm ya with a nice recipie that we'e used for years with great results
^The first recipe I ever used was very similar to that... ocean forest mixed with lgiht warrior, some guanos, lime, and some extra perlite... a nice mix indeed...
I've used the top line nursery soils...the light stuff with lots of vermiculite...and had great results in the growing spectrum. Now if I could just get some beans that were stunning!!
