how come i never see any other hiphop heads in here? all i hear is pink floyd this and pink floyd that...i have herd a couple of PF songs and they are ok but i prefer rap over rock..anybody else missing wutang and afroman?

You know, I like Pink Floyd all the time, high or not. Quality is quality and you don't have to be high to see (hear) it. The appreciation may be more, but still.

 

Can you imagine a bunch of 50 year-olds listening to the oldies rap station some day?

I ussually dont listen to PF unless Im on shrooms or real baked, I ussually listen to rap, Im listening to D12 and Tupac right now.

 

i listen to pink floyd even when im not stoned, because they're still great that way. and I hate rap. i noticed how many people ive never even seen on here just come out and say like hip hop and stuff. yea, sorry but i cant stand it. theres some song i like...really only 'whats your fantasy', 'white tees', and then i like big butts and cant touch this. but thats about it.

 

Pink Floyd, Beatles like them both, however I also appreciate rap as well, most of the older stuff tho, id say pre 1997, Biggie, dre, big L etc. All of the newer stuff I see in the "rap" section of my music store or hear on the radio is more like pop in my mind, material which more often then not contains no lyrical skill.

I mostly like the old school hip hop, but I'm into bone thugs too. Rap these days pretty much sucks. But my heart is in good ol rock and roll...its in my DNA.

Rap's alright. I like a lot of it, but I like almost all music. I'd perfer the grateful dead, or some psy-trance or phish or reggae, or some other types of electronica. But the roots are dank, so is J5, G-Unit, d-12, and some others.
