I always roll joints, preferred way of smoking for me. If I don't smoke alone I usually put about 1/3 or 1/4 of weed in it, rest filled with tobacco. They're not too fat, the tobacco shouldn't be the dominating the taste. If I smoke one alone I fill the joint with 1/4 of weed in it I think, get's me stoned pretty good.

Uhm, isn't it better if you want to conserve weed to roll a joint with weed and tobacco instead of smoking a nugget from a bong?

Y'all have heard rumors about weed being as bad, or worse, for you than tobacco, right? This is why I don't believe 'em. Who rolls joints the size of a tailor made cigarette, and then smokes 20 or more of 'em in a day? Well, me, for one, if I'm at a big ol' party or festival or gathering, or something, with some weight to work with, but on a day to day basis? NO WAY!

it all depends on how you roll your joints.

many people will say, myself included, that as much fun as it is to roll and smoke joints, its tough to get as high with the same amount of weed. that is, you'll get higher from smoking a bowl until its cashed than you would from rolling a joint from the same amount of the same weed and smoking that.

how much you put in is all up to you, but if i'm gonna smoke a joint i wanna do it right. i prefer to roll like this:
[IMG] though thats a smaller, single-paper version of it. if using regular papers (that was a tobacco paper called golden wraps, which taste lousy but are ideal for small, personal sized blunts) i like this method a lot:

but i dont have a good picture of any joints i've rolled this way. the blunt above is about as close as an example as i can show you. the joints i roll like this are bigger than that blunt though, and honestly contain as much weed as most good regular blunts, and burn just as well

this is also a VERY fun joint to smoke: http://lavender.fortunecity.com/trousers/466/JH/tulip.htm
a word of warning, though, if you make it with good herb its devastatingly effective, and they're best for a single smoker because they burn up pretty quick. still, an excellent novelty joint!

you get a pretty gnarly roach though, and a big one. the fattest part of the joint is closest to the cardboard tube you make, so if you want to avoid smoking the cardboard and all that you have to put it out right before it gets there. the resulting roach is a nice, generous, resinous bowlful of goodness:

i've only rolled these twice, and thats the roach from the inferior attempt.
fun, but not worth it if you dont have weed to spare

oh yeah. they're fun, and get you high as hell, but not at all conservative. if you want to save weed, though, joints are not the way to go.

o yea definitely... The best way to conserve weed in my opinion is waterfall bong from a regular sized waterbottle... like .2 gets me higher than a gram in a bong ever could

nah, bongs and joints burn your weed up about as quickly in my opinion, but you save a good bit by choosing a bong instead

smoking tobacco with your pot does not make the high more effective.

you dont get extra THC. you get THC along with the entirely seperate drug effects of nicotine. you'll get a strong nicotine buzz, but as soon as that disappears youll be left with the effects of a small amount of pot.

now if you like the nicotine feeling, then thats just fine and keep rolling with tobacco. but it doesnt get you higher really. no more than smoking weed and then drinking beers. that doesnt get you higher, you just get high and drunk....

using a pipe of sorts will always be more conservative than a joint, no matter what you put in the joint. thats because the joint is always burning, but NOT always being hit. a pipe goes out pretty well between hits.

Of course tobacco doesn't make the thc more effective, but I have the feeling I get more stoned from a joint then off the bong.
Perhaps it's because I'm just used to it, but I find it a more relaxed way to smoke as well. Funny you think that with a joint more weed gets lost. The joint does NOT burn up with standard smoking slim papers while not hitting it, it goes out. If you light your bowl there's always some weed lost in the burn process. If you have the same amount of weed in a joint with tobacco you can smoke it in your own tempo and less weed get lost. So, more relaxed high. Might work different for different people though. :)

I like to keep my joints small, so usually about .4-.5 gram. I try to keep my smoking down to a 1/2g a day as I am low on $
