Nothing like the Smurfs, Doug, Rugrats, Tom and Jerry etc.

 

also, I realize that a lot of who I am was shaped by the smurfs, and other things.

 

Did you know Tom and Jerry was actually a metaphore for WWII?

Apparantly i don't know for sure just what i was told as a kid, could be bullshit.

Tom was suppose to be the Nazi's and Jerry was the English, smaller but smarter... Hence Tom being a grey Cat similar colour to the Nazi uniform and Jerry's fur is suppose to be more similar to the English uniform... Jerry was the mouse right?

Just looking into it though, i got it mixed up... aparantly Tom is the English (which makes sense name wise) and Jerry the Nazi's.

 

The smurfs seem to be a metaphor for supposed hippy subculture. Their village is a commune, they live in mushrooms, Gargamel (the villain) is only interested in gold (money) and wants to exploit them.

 

I always wanted tom to win.

 

Now you know why

 

I also wanted yosimite sam, sylvester, and wil-e coyote to win.

 

Road runner pissed me off but so did coyote... he shoulda just given up... surely there was something slower he could have hunted...

 

he was fighting, not for food (well, sometimes for food) but, more for victory over his hated rival

Yeah but why? i mean Road runner was always just running a mile minute not like that back talking mouse (speedy gonazlas) or that smart ass rabbit... See daffy had a cause. that was a true war.
