Plateau Sigma

This is the only plateau i havent been to on DXM. What is the best method to reach plateau sigma...and how much DXM do i need to take? I usually take 1000-1100mg or so for a 4th plateau.

 

erowid FAQ suggests that a person take a low-moderate second plateau dose. then, three hours later, take the same dose as the first time. three hours after that take a high second or low third plateau dose and wait. when you come down, you won't really "go back to normal"- you'll end up in plateau sigma.

be extremely careful though. that's some dangerous territory.

so is it more intense then a level 4 trip or is it much different because he doesnt explain the experience of a plateau sigma in the faq, so what is it like?

"At Plateau Sigma interesting things happen to reality. Some have reported vivid, entirely realistic contacts with alien entities, spirits, gods and goddesses. Unlike the fourth plateau, these contacts often take place with eyes open, immersed in everyday reality. Although none of the people who reported these experiences to me had bad trips, most related that the experiences were so real that they felt they easily could have.

Vision suffers a curious change, seeming to consist of well-processed but highly strobed images; so strong is the effect that it seems as if one is looking at the world under a fast strobe light. That "internal voice and eye" concept is really interesting.

It's hard to say whether it's more intense than the 4th plateau- from what I've read, it seems that they're both extremely intense, just in different ways.

 

Well, I usually take like this kind of boosters, first 600 mg, after 3 hours 1200 mg. And bang. The Sigma...

But I have been using dex like 3 years now, so I quess normally this could be the best way to get sigma: 300 mg, three or two hours, 300 mg and maybe one hour after 600 mg...

Sigma experice??? Well it's something so weeiird... The most intense experience... I usually lost my ego and I am still WALKING! But I walk, in space, I might fly. My rooms chages totally different than what they are. Like I might think myself in a space rocket...

Well... It's like those 3 and 4 plateau experiences comes to opened eyes hallucinations.

 

i always wanted to try sigma.. but i always find that after i do around 800 mg i feel like i'm too messed up to do any more & i back off

 

Well isnt that kinda dangerous if you think your room is a rocket? lol It seems like it would be a good idea to have a sitter

 

so i'm on my way to sigma right now.. i've just done 400 mg.. i'm gunna do another 400 in an hour & another the hour after.. cheers all

 

drinking + sigma doesn't work

 

DXM does not work as usually, if you drink alcohol with it... I think it takes those psychedelic and trippy feelings away...

Sigma is hard to reach, but after few experience you start feeling it and you reach it easier...

 

I wouldn't recommend drinking alcohol when you're doing large doses of ANY drug, especially one as heavy on the body as DXM.

 

Wow are you stupid enough to drink and take dxm at the same time? IT SAYS IT ON THE BOTTLE, DONT USE WITH ALCOHOL. What are you doing? Drinking with dxm. Nice move.

i like getting drunk after it wears off. but i dont think i could stomach DXM+alcohol at the same time.

 

Hehee... Well, I usually take 600 mg, of dxm and go to bar, it makes me feel great...

But once I did take like 1800 mg of dxm (nowdays my normal dose weight 55 kg...) And at the second day I taked lot of alcohol. Then, suddenly I wake up from my floor, and I notice that there is water everywhere on my living room... hmmm... Maybe I had water games or something, but yeah... DXM AND ALCOHOL, don't do IT!

 

I am almost positive that I made it to Plateau Sigma just a few nights ago but it was nothing like the description from the FAQ. It was the most empty, black, and downright scary thing that has ever happened to me and it made me feel like I was going to die. I panicked and went to the ER because I was sure that I was dying but I really just had an accelerated heartbeat and some trouble breathing.

Even if I had waited it out and not gone to the ER, I am positive that I would not have enjoyed one second of the experience I went through.

By the way, I took 1062mg of DXM at a body weight of 115 pounds. NOT SMART.

 

Well, there is no really, a normal plateau sigma trip... It is always different... Also in sigma everything is possible...

 

Don't drink with DXM.

I wish I could take 1000 mg of DXM, but 300 really fucks with my bladder pretty bad so I don't think 1000 is a good idea for me.

 

i attempted to reach sigma last friday. i started by pouring out 3 doses of robitussin (the kind w/ only dxm in it). the doses were 3.5 oz for the first two and the last on was 7 ounces which comes out to about 300mg and 600mg respectively. I took the first dose, then three hours later i took the second dose. My friend was keeping track of time cuz i knew i would get too fucked up to do it. 3 hours after the second dose i could only do like half of the last dose cuz i was too fucked up and didnt want to drink all of it cuz i didnt think i could handle it. The trip was definitely different than my normal high dose dxm trip. I was tripping extremely hard, objects were melting and shit like that, everything looked like i was looking through the wrong end of a telescope, everything looked tiny and very far away, but at times i remeber some things looking extremly large. The world looked very cartoon like and i remember hearing some voices and at one point i thought i was leaving my body.

I remember seeing two of everything like i was seeing the world in in two sharp images. This effect was very similar to what Ketamine can do to my vision.

I'm not sure if i made it to sigma since i didnt finish the last dose but i think i at least made it partially.
