I hope Bush wins the election. Why? I really don't think Kerry is going to change anything. Sure, he says he is for universal healthcare and the Kyoto protocol and pro-choice and all those things...but why should we believe him? In the last election, Bush said that he was against globalization and that he would worry about our country before dealing with any others...look at us now. If Kerry wins and doesn't improve the economy, who are the neocons and the media going to blame? John Kerry. If Bush stays in office, who is there to blame? It is foolish to go back and blame Clinton. What will they say if Bush is still in office and the economy is worse than ever and there is more poverty than ever before...which happens to be the state of the country right now. In the last four years 5 million people no longer have to pay taxes; no fucking shit, they are too poor to pay them. How much worse can we get? Much, much worse, I believe...if Bush stays in office the media and the neocons will have to start facing the truth, that George Bush is the worst president to ever rule this country, and they won't be able to blame a thing on John Kerry. The mess is too big for either of them to clean up; if Bush stays in office he will have to take responsibility for his actions.
There are 50 more billionaires in the U.S. now compared with last year, bringing the total to 313 billionaires. Meanwhile, the poverty level went up this year. The combined wealth of these billionaires is over a trillion dollars. Incredible. There was only a handful of billionaires in the 90s. http://money.cnn.com/2004/09/23/news/newsmakers/forbes_400/index.htm?cnn=yes
Well, they're both elites and they both serve a globalist agenda. Like I've said, I see little REAL difference between the two. Bush and his neocon cronies are after the same thing as John Kerry, they just go about their global interests differently. Of course the neocons push for globalization with offensive foreign policy, while the so-called "liberals" push for globalization in a more "diplomatic" way. Either way, both are intent on destroying this country, whether some of you want to believe that or not. These people are only out to serve themselves, not American citizens. They don't represent me, nor should they represent any American that hasn't been completely duped.
It's all about the benjamins, baby. Why should we care about the poor when we can just exploit them!!
CNN showed a documentary of Bush Sunday. There was a clip of Kerry kissing Bush's butt on Capitol Hill when he said Bush had presented a most eloquent argument for going up against Iraq.
I have brought this point up very many times, it makes a lot of sense, although i may not totally agree with it, i havn't really made up my mind about what I would do in this election if i voted. I could vote for an independent, and feel good that i voted for who I REALLY wanted and not who i was forced to vote for as the lesser of two evils. If Bush is elected things will get MUCHHHH worse because he doesnt have to try and get elected again, so he can do whatever he wants, meaning that the general population will begin to realize how corrupt american politics is, especitally the bush crime family. But at the same time, think about how many innocent civilians in other countries will be killed and bombed because of Bush's foreign policies, is it right to let all of these civilians die just so we can make Bush look bad and turn the country against him? some may think so, others not, Like i said I havn't made up my mind, and it isn't like less civilians will die under Kerry, he'll just do it with a diplomatic smile on his face, this is a lot to think about and i find myself switching opinions over and over... Peace and Love, Dan
If Bush wins I'm moving to Canada... Are they less evil...not nessicarily. Do they hide it better...most definately. Seriously... when was the last time you heard "Canada invades North Pole, rumors of an elf uprising spark international incident"
here's the problem with your reasoning: Kerry will place more liberal Supreme Court Justices than that bumbling fool we have for a "president" right now. (Dubya will take us back to the 50's!) and, and, we won't have a bumbling fool in that office any more. almost anything would be an improvement over Daddy's boy W. pay attention.
Sinclair Broadcast Group of Maryland, owner of the largest chain of television stations in the nation, plans to preempt regular programming two weeks before the Nov. 2 election to air a documentary that accuses Sen. John F. Kerry of betraying American prisoners during the Vietnam War. Sinclair has ordered its 62 stations, some of which are in the critical swing states of Ohio, Florida, Iowa and Wisconsin, to air "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" during prime-time hours next week. The Sinclair station group collectively reaches 24 percent of U.S. television households. "Stolen Honor" focuses on Kerry's antiwar testimony to Congress in 1971 and its effect on American POWs in Vietnam. Kerry testified that U.S. forces routinely committed atrocities in Vietnam. The film, produced independently of Sinclair, includes interviews with former POWs who say their Vietnamese captors used Kerry's comments to undercut prisoner morale. Sinclair, based in the Baltimore suburb of Hunt Valley, decided to air the film after it was rejected for airing by the major broadcast networks, vice president Mark Hyman said. "This is a powerful story," Hyman said. "The networks are acting like Holocaust deniers and pretending [the POWs] don't exist. It would be irresponsible to ignore them." Kerry campaign spokesman David Wade yesterday called the film "lies" and "a smear" and characterized Sinclair as "another one of President Bush's powerful corporate friends trying to help him." Hyman said Sinclair has invited Kerry to appear on a discussion program after the broadcast, but Kerry's campaign has declined. The invitation to Kerry could help Sinclair satisfy federal requirements to provide "equal time" to candidates in an election. Sinclair's top executives, including members of the controlling Smith family, have been strong financial supporters of Bush's campaign. The company made news in April when it ordered seven of its ABC-affiliated stations not to air a "Nightline" segment that featured a reading of the names of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq; a Sinclair executive called that broadcast "contrary to the public interest." Sinclair also is one of the few station-group owners that puts corporate opinion on its local newscasts. Hyman delivers conservative commentaries called "The Point." The "Stolen Honor" documentary, which was released in early September, raises many of the same issues brought up by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, an anti-Kerry group that has run ads in battleground states criticizing Kerry's wartime record and antiwar activities, especially his 1971 testimony. The documentary's producer — a small production company in Harrisburg, Pa., headed by a former journalist, Carlton Sherwood — has no official connection to the Swift boat group. However, one of the POWs in the film, Paul Galanti, has appeared in a Swift boat ad. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6221779/ I was waiting for something to happen..I knew it would before the election since Bush is in trouble..and now it looks like he is getting helped out..
Well, kerry's record show's he's definitely an environmentalist. And you think that because Bush says he's against globalization, that he has the power to stop it? There is no stopping that, it's been going on for centuries. Just think about what another 4 years with Bush will be like, especially considering that he won't have to worry about reelection.
politicians are evil. but Bush is the should be failure in politics that has made it to the top on daddy's money. weak evil is worse in a way than strong evil. let us get rid of the weak evil, and then hope for a blessing.
What? Are you saying Kerry is a neocon? Are you crazy, Kerry and Bush are polar opposites! John Kerry is an environmentalist, antiwar liberal. He won't intertwine religion and politics. He won't start more wars or a draft. Can you say any of this about Bush? Michael Badnarik though, now there's a serious scumbag.
How can you say this in good conscience? You want people to get poorer and DIE to prove a point (not that one needs to be proven, many people already know that Bush is a murdering bastard). What is so freakin' magical about 4 yrs. vs. 8 yrs.? 4 yrs. is plenty long enough to show that Bush is incompetent and EVIL. Why should more people die! At the rate our civil liberties are diasappearing we won't be able to do anything after 4 more years! How many endangered species will go extinct? Think about it! This is not an interesting experiment! This is reality. If you weren't just a kid and you actually had to take care of yourself, you wouldn't think this way. People supporting themselves are far more aware of reality, they don't have the luxury of being a teenage rebel. If Bush wins I hope anyone who voted for him is maimed by a tornado/hurricane/tropical storm due to global climate change or is drafted into the war or gets terminally ill without insurance.
Your entire thesis here is predicated on hoping for the country to get fucked up, just so you can blame Bush. I think that's pretty fuckin' stupid. Really. You're a petty little hater, ain'cha. So petty that you'd wish the country to suffer just to prove yourself and your hate for Bush right. Get a life. -Jeffrey
You're full of shit, and I'll bet you pussy out when Bush wins, just like that shitheel wifebeater Alec Baldwin, who said he'd (do us all a favor and) move to France if Bush won the first time. Guess who was too fuckin' comfy in the good ol' U.S. of A. to keep his word. -Jeffrey
Hey, clueless, didn't you crack open a fucking newspaper last week? They voted on the Draft bill, and it was resoundingly DEFEATED. There will be no draft, not under Democrats or Republicans. Wake the fuck up. But no, you still jerk off to the fantasy that the Republicans are trying to restart the draft, just so you have a reason to continue your sick hatred. You liberal pansies make me sick. You rant and fuckin' rave against Bush, you understand little or nothing about the world, you have this hippie-wackjob idealistic view of shit that is nothing short of pathetic, and you think that roses grow out of Kerry's footprints, for some inscrutable reason. And you lie and deceive yourselves just so you can keep the fires of your self-righteous liberal hatred stoked. -Jeffrey
