Hey, I am really eager to try shrooms, I just have a few questions. I have never done any serious drugs before, except a little ambien and nitrous.. I am pretty sure I don't wanna do this alone, and I have a friend who wants to do it with me. I was thinking at one of our houses, when our folks go to sleep. How long until I could pull off being normal? What dosage should I start off with? My choices are either a) be somewhere away from home, maybe a nature reserve or something - but a chance of being worried b) be at one of our houses, not as pretty but I guess safe How safe is it for a first timer to be out and about? Thanks!
i would stay inside and away from prying eyes your first time. The friends house sounds like a better place the 1st time to me. mushrooms can get intense, especialy if you get nervous,
If I were a first timer I would use the search engine to look at thousands of posts of advice from threads just like this. Not trying to be a dick, you'll probably just find more info that way.
Out in nature is safe enough. But it has to be nowhere near other people, especially authority figures. Does your boy have his own place? If not, are you 100% sure his parents won't show up? You'll need 7 -10 hours before you'll want to have to deal with parents.
You'll be fine anywhere as long as it's just you and whoever you're tripping with. It's more like 6 hours unless you take a really high dose.
Just sleep over at his house, but it would be a pretty bad idea if both of you were on them when your parents are in the same house with no trip sitter. Basically, for 5 hours after you take them it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to parents or cops, they will automatically know you are on something. The nature thing sounds better but make sure you have a trip sitter for either one, it seems like the possibitlity of a bad trip may be higher at the house (the parents being in the same house may hear you guys being loud and come to talk to you to quiet down, and then you will be fucked), but either way just have a sitter
if you decide to do them at one of your houses, do them at night just as soon as your (or his) parents go to sleep. but be prepared to be awake for at least another 5 hours. if you do this, only take about 1 gram each so you get a feel for them. no need to have a full out trip your first time, that can come later. if you do them in nature, i'd still suggest you take 1 gram (no more than 1.5) but it may be nicer- you can be out during the day, somewhere secluded (definitely away from public places like stores and busy streets- they suck when you're on mushrooms). at this dose, you should be alright. when i first did them,my friend and i took about a gram and went to his house four hours later. his parents were home, and they didn't notice a thing. you shouldn't have any problems at all after 5 hours or so if you don't take much.
I recommended 7-10. Takes almost an hour to come up (hate that term). So you're actually tripping from hours 2-? Your recommendation has him talking to parents at hour 5. No good, IMHO. Doable, but not a good idea, unless you have to.
Ok, thanks everyone for the help! authority figures are not a problem, i am living in mexico now would i be able to stay awake for the 5 hours if i were to take them when the rents go to bed, or would i pretty much pass out within an hour or two? if i dont have a scale, what unit of measurement could i compare to a gram? thanks a lot!
its hard to measure shrooms by eye, as they all differ in length and denseness and remember, a few mushrooms could be stronger/weaker then others you have in the same bag, so sometimes little difference in weight doesnt matter as one cap could be more potent then a decent size stem you should start feeling them in about 40 minutes to an hour, and you usually trip for 6-9 hours depending on the mushrooms and how much you take. i find it hard to sleep during a trip. also: shrooms give you alot of crazy, awesome feelings, hallucinations, so: make sure your pad is clean, nicely setup, have some good music.. it will make for a better trip, a simple preparation for a trip will make for a great trip let us know how it go's
damn, as stated before, I live in mexico. You would think its dirt cheap around here, but where I live it's not popular at all. some dudes want $25 a gram. i think thats a complete rip off. what should i expect? i am in a semi tropical climate, they are pretty popular a few hours from here in hippy towns.
well, an 1/8th of an OZ usually sells for $40.. shrooms can get expensive, they can be like weed.. some differ in potency by so much and so will the price when i grew shrooms, i bought 6 different strains of Cubensis.. 3 were from texas.. the 1 from Florida was ALOT better then all the ones from texas.. (florida white) i read florida white was one of the best, most potent visual of the cubensis species.. and it was great.. but the texas ones, had simular descriptions.. in reality, alot milder of a trip.. could have just been that batch.. but there are alot of factors about potency in mushrooms.. like HOW they were grown (matters ALOT).. how they were dried.. the flushes matter alot too..
