All you are demonstrating is that it is a very well made fake. Meanwhile the actress involved, recognisable from other things she's been in, has said that it was a promo commissioned by the scifi channel. If this could be verified as real it would be the biggest news in the history of life on earth, why do you think it isn't?

Again, it's impossible to rationally engage with this kind of credulity and complete lack of critical thinking...

An interesting development that occurred not long before Edgar Mitchell made these revelations were statements by a few officials of the Vatican-in particular Monsignor Balducci, whos says that he is positive that aliens have been visiting the earth http://www.catholic-religion-today.com/Aliens.html and other officials who are stressing that there is nothing contrary to Catholicism in believing that aliens exist http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7399661.stm. Mgr. Balducci even says that the Vatican has been quietly following this subject for a few years (and maybe even has inside information like Edgar Mitchell's). It's almost as though they're trying to prepare people for the inevitable, the truth that we're really not the only intelligent creatures in the universe.

    Very interesting!

I think profezzor x has it about right. Truly. I cannot imagine being arrogant enough to believe we humans are the only intelligent life in the universe. I do believe in the Bible; but I don't "get" the same thing out of it that many claim to get.
I don't remember the exact scripture off the top of my head, but there is a place that mentions "this world and other worlds" - and I do recall in this text it isn't talking about another world being heaven or hell.

Not that Catholics have any history of swearing blind that imaginary beings exist...

Well, think about if Aliens did come to earth. Wouldn't it be possible that they would spread a message of peace because you want to hear that? What if they come and they just want to use us instead?

It's more then that, I think. That would be great, but we humans are too reliant on our egos for them to have anything to do with us at the moment. Think about how advanced beings would communicate. They would probably use telepathy, that makes the most sense considering the variety of languages that other planets would have. I mean, look at the confusion on our planet! If an "advanced" being were to come here , they could easily munipulate us because we don't know how to discern yet. We let our minds filter the world around us and influence us to the point that we kill each other. I'm sure other races had to deal with this and that's where this so called "enlightenment" comes in, the seeing beyond the filter of your mind. Once you do that, once the human race has enough people in it that can see this, then we won't have to worry about any influence because we wouldn't let our minds filter what we see and we would just see what is.

An example of a munipulation would be an Alien comes to earth spreading messages of peace and even claiming to be the return of the Messiah. Many people would believe this because they let the filter that is there mind make choices for them, I.E. they rely too much on religious texts and the authority figures to make choices for them, so they would see that as being beneficial. The Aliens on the other hand are obviously not the messiah (You are the messiah. That's a different topic altogether, though :) ) but they could pray on that believe to get whatever it is they want.

i don't need science because i've seen them... both Aliens and Craft... but if you like science then do the maths (or atleast read about it).... it is mathematically highly improbable that life does not exist elsewhere in the universe/multiverse...

A scientific device known as a camera could have at least helped...

Would you mind describing them briefly, if what you say is true it would at least seem reasonable that you would like to share?

Let me share something a smart man once shared with me,

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination. - Douglas Admas

exist? well of course they EXIST. anyone who isn't some kind of religious nut who thinks the universe ends at the orbit of pluto and the rest of it is some kind of painted backdrop or something, realizes how improbable it would be for many different kinds of looking people from the many different kinds of planets orbiting many different suns not to.

Exactly the planet earth is situated in a relatively sparse region of the milky way galaxy; but if we were situated in a densely populated region of space away from the outer spiral arms we’d be on the phone to ET pretty much everyday [IMG]

That would be the unfashionable Western Spiral Arm of the Galaxy...
