    A little embarrassed to say it but when I was a little girl in the 1970's, I thought this show was hilarious. The pinnacle of great humour.

    I was in Alabama then. We watched it religiously for the first couple of years.

    Good music. Cornball, but if you were from the south, it's humour hit close to home. :)

    LOL, I grew up in the early 80's watching that; cause my grandma watched it every saturday night; but man, I hated it; got on my nerves! lol

    "Gloom, Despair, and Agony on Me" was a humorous tune they would sing on Hee Haw every week. The group in the sketch did nothing but complain about their problems. :biggrin:
