FSU search for NOFX video and watch one of there rock against bush infomercials, no michale moore in site, but ofcourse NOFX are a punk band so what would they know aye FSU?
Peppy--Never heard of NOFX. My favorite band has REAL talent: RUSH. They are the greatest rock band on the planet. Oh, and Blackie--which words do I misspell and misuse? Please tell me, oh Spelling Bee Champion.
I agree we need peace in our world. If forign countries would leave us alone and we would leave other countries alone we would be alot better off.
Wow. Just...wow. FSU, why are you being so ugly to everyone? We all think differently, and you don't need to bash other people because of the way they think. You are being so judgemental and just plain MEAN! A lot of the things you said were un-called for. I'm sorry if I'm an idiot for wanting world peace. I'm sorry, I don't know how to achieve it. If people like you would step off their "throne" then maybe we could all work together and try to make this world a better place. I, personally, can't see why anyone WOULDN'T want world peace. I just can't fathom ANY reason.
Best thing any 14 year old I have ever known has said. Especially when I was 14, I was a dick. Good for you, sister
Wild Flower--Not being mean. Just speaking the truth. I agree with Strawberry Fields, there will never be world peace. With that being said, the United States needs to continue the policy of peace through strength. A strong military and a robust foreign policy is the only way to have peace. Peace through appeasement, which you advocate, will not work. It never has. Remember 1938 and Prime Minister Chamberlain? This quote should help you: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." --Thomas Jefferson.
man you must have heard, "fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity" i think that quote is slightly more truthful. if your a teacher and two kids are fighting, and the smaller kid goes, He started it, you always answer "just 'cause he started it doesn't mean you had to join in" and as a christian FSU i would expect you to be aware of "turn the other cheek" now maybe i'm niave i don't care the fact is why should rules and morals change just because it is no longer a personal level, surely it is even more important to act in love in the world wide scale as the repacusions of fighting are that much more extreme. and it is bullshit that fighting wars has baught about peace, world war 1 baught about distrust, and upset due to the reparations set up that were a major factor of world war 2, and the war upsets were the main point of revelution in rusia, (the reason why the country was so poor, the spark of the revalotion. "PEACE, LAND, BREAD" lennins first manifesto) and then this revalution was the spark of the cold war, and oh wait a minuet the war in afganistan, when the americans used Osama Bin Laden one of there own highly trained. this link is obviuse to modern day, oh and then lets see, there funding of Israel in the war against palistine, yeah that is definately for peace. and selling weapons to Sadam all that time ago, hmm not for money though that was for peace wasn't it?
The only way to have peace is by re-electing George W. Bush. He won't seek permission from Kofi Annan to defend America. And he won't seek permission from hippies, either.
ok say the things that you couldn't understand from my last post but, surely you understood the, "fighting to for war is like fucking for virginity" and the quote from Jesus "turn the other cheek" which of the two do you see george doing? is he really going to bring peace?
There can be peace if we try hard enough to achieve it. We can't make everyone think the same way -- what fun would it be if we did anyway, lol? But, it starts with my generation. If the youth of the world changes our mindset -- that violence is not the answer. We can do it. Yes, there will always be sick, twisted people who want nothing but violence. But, I think as a whole we can achieve peace. It is possible, even though it might seem out of our reach. And I don't quite understand the reasoning behind war. How does violence create peace? It doesn't. And also, you can't fight war with war. It doesn't work -- it just creates more war. Is the understanding behind it simply, "That person killed people so lets kill them so they can't kill anyone else." Oh yeah, that's a great way to solve problems.
Wild Flower--I'm reminded that Harry Truman dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, and it brought instant peace. World War II ended because of President Truman's actions. I'm also reminded that Winston Churchill said: "If you want peace, prepare for war." Are both Truman and Churchill wrong? Are you, a 14 year old hippie that uses Jimi Hendrix as a role model, telling me that FDR, Truman, Eisenhower and Churchill are wrong? Please explain your logic. Thanks.
