Hi, I'm having some trouble with my gear and was hoping to get some advice. I have a 400w hps globe with a ballast and a timer, it's been running fine for the last 2 weeks, until today it was nice and sunny so I shut off the gear and let my 2 plants have some time outdoors. Now when I try to turn the light back on it no longer works, the timer is fine and the balast is still humming like always. Is it possible that the globe has burned out after 2 weeks? It hasnt been banged or anything. Any help greatly appreciated. :)

Could be the ballast not igniting it too. I'd reseat the bulb, see if it works. If it doesn't even ignite then i'd take the bulb back. If new one doesn't work, i'd get your ballast checked.

you need to give it time for it to go back on maybe 30 120mins..if it's to hot the lamp i mean it's not going to go back on?
if your plants indoor dont take em away from the lamp like you said you did
Bad thing to do man....18ha...down...2...12...works every time

if its humming then the ballest is working it could be the compacitor or the ignitor,or the bulb

Check the cord between ballast and bulb, unplug and replug both ends.
