Ya so, my first lip piercing was done a few years ago with a hoop, healed good, not a lot of swelling.

and saturday, i finally got the other side done, with a stud, swelling is up, but has lowered a lot since i got it done. now though, the back and the fornt of larbret stud is leaving indents. the piercing clean etc.

just any advice on, or is it normal, etc.
    thanks

The back is suppossed to indent a little. settle in if you will.Thats good, keeps it in its place and off your delicate gums.
Don't let skin grow over the back though- it may be tooo tight if it is sore and leaving an indent in the front.

Yeah, I experienced this with my 2nd labret piercing. I went back and got a stud with a longer post and that really helped. I was really afraid of skin growing over it on the back. A little swelling is normal though.
