gravity bongs

I was just wondering if anyone tried using ice tea or soda for the liquid in the g bong. Would it make it taste weird?

 

the pot or the soda/tea?

 

i have tried several things like this not only in a G bong but also in normal water pipes and especialy in my hookahs. it will add an interesting taste to the smoke and can alter the texture as your are esentialy evaporating small amounts of the fluid into the smoke. one of the most interesting things we have ever tried was smoking through sunny delight.

hmm i should try that. but i usually put ice in my bong with cold water. its more refreshing.

 

would you get drunk if you put an alcoholic beverage in a water pipe?

 

Only if you get drunk off tiny droplets of alcohol....

 

ive used beer, spilt the bong over and thats all i had with me!

If the alcohal did have an effect I didnt notice it becuase of how fucked up I already was.

Yeah, lemonade is good. Ice is a given for me anymore; I don't use my bong without ice...

 

this has sorta gon away form teh question, to which teh answer would be: barely, since the smoke doesnt actually go through teh water in a normal gravity bong. but i wouldnt try it.

and when you use beer, doesnt it fizz up uncontrollably?

Good call fandango. Could be entertaining if you didn't like the people but I wouldn't advise using rum or vodka. Although I have heard of using wine. Anybody now about wine?

 

In bongs I can see different flavored liquids doing something, but not in a Gravity. You dont really use the liquid much except for suction...

 

Why do they call it a "gravity" bong, anyways. Shouldn't it be called a suction bong or something?

i think its galled a gravity bong because dumb stoned people saw how it filled up as you lifted the bottle up, which looks like it could be a gravity device. they prolly didnt know anything about air pressure

 

i used coke once, that was pretty good

 

either way gravity or "G" bong is a good sounding word. us pot heads like cool words.

 

Down here in Alberta noones heard of the words Gravity Bong or G Bong, all we use out here for it is Hydro Bong, which to me sounds more true than the word Gravity Bong. I dunno, maybe its just a canada thing?
