i love my ipod touch. i use it daily for many other things other than listening to music. i use my nano for gym music
¨ well I'm not a specialist but my friend is, and a big specialist when it comes to mp3 players and actually there are better ones. but still iPod's got it's charm
Only I didn't buy any of their records, not for about 20 years anyway. Was tempted by Death Magnetic, but I decided it was actually rather lame. I do beleive in paying for albums though, artists need to earn a living otherwise they have to get a regular job, and then they can't spend their time making music. But there should be a way to get a refund if you decide you don't like the record. Like say, if you could pay a couple of quid to rent it for a day, like with movies, and then if yolu like it you pay more to have a premanent copy.
Hehe It's nice seeing someone still paying for music... Actually, I think paying for concerts is enough. Cause I don't know how about american concerts, but when some "star" comes to Europe, the prices are really high.. (how's that? Because they're under Live Nation)
You keep on payin' for them man, while I'll keep on downloadin' em. You should totally start a website that does the whole rent-and then buy thing. You could make millions off honest idiots who believe in paying for music.
as I said I am not specialist, but better in how long they last, that simplicity is also relative... I'll ask him one more time and tell you tomorrow.
There is always that possibility. Yet, believe me, I have done the research... and the iPod is so popular for a reason. (and not just because it's trendy)
I like owning LP's and getting the artwork, liner notes etc. but there is just no way I can afford to buy 5 or 6 albums a day.
okie dokie. Actually I don't wanna make fights against your iPods and what's more, I don't want to ruin Penny's thread
So what would happen then if no-one paid for albums. How would the people who offer their creative energy into making this music that you think should be free for all be able to afford to make it at all? I'm not a capitalist though, I'd happily cook a nice meal for these bands in exchange for a copy of an album, but then that would probably cost more unless the ingredients and gas were free.
No, we really should have a tech-fight, so that you could get pwned by us and then shed some cyber-tears.
I was on 5 or 6 a week for a while, but I'm out of a job now so I'm copying shit for free now until I find a job again, or decide to fuck off into the wildnerness and become a pilgrim.
