thank God they struck down the bail out.... although there will probably be another, more compromised bail out by the end of the week.

These companies that cannot sustain themselves must either change or face liquidation. Bailing them out just prolongs the agony. The more band aids you put on the system- the worse it becomes. Sure, the failure of some of these corporations that cannot make profitability makes for chaos for a year or so, but the market is so much stronger in the long term.
Every time the Fed/ Treasury Dept. bails these companies out, the more the dollar falls- the more the economy falls. These companies are bailed out with money that is created out of.... nothing. Nothing but thin air.

Do you know that in the last three years the Federal Reserve has created over 4 TRILLION DOLLARS...... 4 trillion dollars backed by nothing other than green paper. This destroys the value of the dollar- it destroys our monetary system- it destroys our economy.
It was our monetary system that got us into this situation in the first place.

Survival of the fittest I thought that was the Capitalist way? This bailout shit is socialism or communism for the wealthy.I'm sure there are small businesses that could use a hand too.but only the big muthers.I wish I could be bailed out every time I was fiscally irresponsible.

No, because Congress is not in session because of Rosh Hashanah. It won't be until Thursday at least.

Why does Congress get a Jewish holiday off?

Oh, I'm sure there's a "good" reason for it.

I think you would have a much higher uptake of your ideas concerning conspiracy if you start with the Superbowl as a model for democracy and elections:

It doesn’t matter which of the two teams you hope wins, the small group of men who own the teams always win.

Once you have someone seeing it that way, then you apply it to banking: it doesn’t matter if a business needs to borrow money to get through a recession or if a business needs to borrow money for an expansion, either case the bank is making money.

Then you take a bigger step and explain that Capitalism versus Socialism is not about good versus evil, or democracy versus communism, it was really an issue of banks being allowed to suck money from a society or not.

And then you have someone seeing the pattern, and you can whisper in their ear that other pattern you see…concerning religion. You are free to finally stop cloaking your true belief of who you see behind it all in words like “handlers” and "puppet masters" and "parasites."

Just be careful, you might have gotten sucked in by a sicker conspiracy than the one you think you are exposing.

So please clarify yourself a bit so I know exactly what I am responding to when I reply back.

You need me to clarify? Okay. The crap you peddle is well-documented as ‘The Jewish Banker Conspiracy.’ http://www.rense.com/general69/bank.htm

The reason you aren’t involved in politics is because your style of politics hasn’t been in power since Hitler. So you sit and wait for your time again, hoping someone comes along to lead you because you are too ball-less to use the word “Jew” and instead use “parasites”, “puppet masters” and “handlers.”

    Was that clear enough?

Excuse me, but that is not what I was referring to, and I am NOT one of those people you are referring to and have made that clear a number of times. There are people who think Jews run the world. I am not one of them.

Now, what I meant by what I said was that the government always has a "good" (according to them) reason to do what they do, regardless if it's what the people want or is in ther best interests. That's all. You are the one who took what I said and spun it according to what YOU want to believe.

Congress didn't get a holiday. Practicing Jews took time off, would you prefer they went against their religion and didn't?

What I find strange is even though we are in a supposed crisis, the market plays us like pawns.

I say no bailout. Let Wall Street bail us out, they seem to have the funds to run the market up and down. No bailout till after the election. Let the market correct. Let Palin, Biden, Obama and McCain tell us how they can solve this and prevent it from happenning in the future. I am really interested in their solutions. I don't want some vague solution. I want it fully outlined, and someone standing behind it.

I don't want to have to absorb tax breaks or live through more market unrest because no one wanted to address deregulation. I want answers and strong responses that will keep this from reocurring.

Acually I don't care. I also think there shouldn't be a bailout but whether or not there is one it's not my tax money. Seems funny to me that the House was forced to work through the weekend but then when they try to pass similar legislation through the Senate people are allowed to take a day off DURING the week. If you choose not to show up then you don't vote. I thought that 'the economy will be doomed' if this isn't passed right away.
