So perhaps many don't know the name Richard Wright but most people familiar with this forum I am sure have heard Dark Side or any of the other albums he contributed too. RIP!!!

Richard Wright, a founder member of Pink Floyd, died today at the age of 65 after battling cancer, his spokesman said.

Wright played the keyboard with the legendary band and wrote music in classic albums like the Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here.

RIP. I discovered a couple of days after his death that I had been at his last public musical performance- a DVD launch with David Gilmour. I am so glad that at Live 8 there had been one last chance for the four Floyd members of them to perform together.
