make tams? show/sell/swap em here

every thread that mentions tams or wool hats gets lots of questions like where can i buy one
its a pain to keep having to say talk to so n so or to go digging for any 1 of dozens of threads where a few links got posted.. so yo concolidate and make life easier for everyone.. heres the great tam thread!


few simple rules though
no advertising large business sites that sell mass produced tams or hundreds of products, this is for hand made one of a kind tams made by private crafters.

you may post pictures of a few of your newest creations but lets not overdo it if you post alot, plesse go back and remove a few that were swapped or sold

you may include a link to an etsy shop or other online shop, you may also give cintact info if you do not have 1, but do not spam (posting ther same info multiple times)

if you sell more then 2-3 that were because of posts in this thread, please concider becomming a hipfurums supporter if you sell more then 2-3 a month, concider upgrading to lifetime supporter

generally, is it better to have a tighter or looser fitting tam? my dreads are a little past my shoulders and i had my mom wash my tam and i think she put it in the dryer cuz it feels tighter on my head. so i was kinda thinking about getting a new one, but if tighter is better, im sticking with the one i have now.

 

if it still firs wear it most will stretch a bit as your hair grows

 

Does anyone know a good place to buy a dread "band"? You know, those things that look like an open-topped beanie?

I really want one of those so I can have a fountain of dreads hanging out the back

 

u could always buy a beanie and cut the top off.
or just get a sweat band or some crap.
if not, dreadheadhq has some, but everyone hates them.
