10 years minimum if its your first offence, 25-life for subsequent offences... running a Jay walk with scissors attracts a penalty of death...
I had 15 years of thrills far above and beyond the call of duty. I love my laid back life I have now.
What I like about here? I like that it a nice atmosphere and I am close to the city. We are buying a house soon but I can't imagine living here forever. I think we will move farther up north to be closer to our families.
I love how much history and art there is to this town. Very high consciousness level as well, when you find the right people. There are many free events that aren't cheesy but truly amazing. I feel at home here
Sister, you'd love New Paltz! Sometimes when I get bored I take a walk and look at the old stone buildings on Huguenot Street. There's places to catch a free consciousness-raising movie, a drum circle, free music, and free art events in various places around the area. The Frolic is a barefoot dance in Kingston in the winter or outdoors at the Center for Symbolic Studies near New Paltz in the summer. It's free for volunteers, all you have to do is help with set-up or takedown or sit a half-hour door shift. Lots of fun, cool people, really good DJ's.
I visited New Paltz, NY in November 2006!!! I bought a really far out pair of wire rim glasses from one of the many antique shops there. Visited Woodstock while I was in the area too!! You live in a beautiful area!
Not much. i live in houston and its a really dirty city. i guess the thing i like the most is Chueys Mexican Food. thing i hate the most? i cant bike to work.....
although i have grown to dislike the winter...it looks like a christmas card here in the winter months...i like it best in the summer...lots of misty green mountains...and alot of nice things to see...
Would you happen to be talking about Rosendale? This is odd, you're the second person I've talked to on here this week that lives in that area.
good place its a valley were surrounded by hills and were also surrounded by a bunch of reserves so you can probably come and check out lots of pow wows around here treaty 4 pow wow was just a week or two ago almost got cancelled from some natives escaping from jail *almost shakes fist at them*
well you know my ass is gonna get there someday:cheers2: I wish there were drum circles around here though. I have to go to festivals for those. Did drumming lessons but its just not the same as the free spiritedness of coming together. I'm not one for much structure.
Yeah, that's why I love this place! I don't get to Woodstock that often anymore, but there's a good drum circle there right on the Green (which is really brown, because they paved it after all the hippie butts wore away the grass.) Woodstock is ok, but I like other places around here more. I just love the mountains.
