with the help of what i read on the internet i did.. i dont see why thats such a stretch.. september was the date i discussed as the month we would all see how bad it was since a few months before december 2007..
oh,and BTW, i have 0 sympathy for someone who still has the internet yet complains about financial hardship.cant be to damn rough ya still got electricity and a net connection.. cut them two bills out i dare say you have enough for beans and rice for a family of four for a month...
If he is not at fault for what happened to him, he has the right to complain, and to expect help from the government. A lot of people have suffered from the Bush economy through no fault of their own.
that's no surprise. somehow i don't think you'd feel sorry for anyone, even if they had no legs or arms and they only job they could get was bagging groceries at 7-11.
why should the government help you? the government is no more entitled to bail you out than it is to bail out wall street.. im not going to sit and raise hell about them bailing out wall street and then say they should bail out those unemployed.. hell im unemployed,i made 44 grand in the last 12 months,60 grand in 2006,i know i probably will never see those kind of earnings again. i also know if im lucky my next job MAY pay 10 bucks a hour, thats if i can find a job at all.. thats fine, ill make due.. im not complaining.. its called personal responsibility. a concept i fear has been lost in this country.its no ones duty to see to it you are fed and clothed but your own. with a little luck this economic crisis may very well bring that back in america, but i kinda doubt it... so your going through tough times, your not alone. suck it up and make due with what ya got and be thankful you dont live somewhere like somalia...
HHB, even though you deliver your message straight up without cream & sugar, as many people would prefer, I think it's a very valuable attitude. Self pity is draining and unempowering. No matter what our situation or circumstance, acting the victim does nothing to help us take care of ourselves. It's not a question of blame, self or others, it's a question of responsibility. There's always a reason why we wind up with the circumstance we do, but it's not always obvious what the reason is or why it's helpful at first look. So we must be willing to drop all the blame and take a good hard look at it. Otherwise the blame game can go on forever with nothing constructive resulting from it. Also I think HHB would be willing to help anyone in need as long as they weren't just mooching. At least that's my impression.
yes i would help anyone that is willing to help themselves,in fact we fully expect folks to wind up here because they have lost everything before this is over with. that being said,we can not and will not allow anyone here that does not contribute enough energy to sustain themselves as well as there dependents. you brought up a a valid point,i could have educated myself better while times were good so as not to have wound up in the position im in but i didnt.. its not the governments fault i made bad life choices, its my own.. like i said, where i live i dont know that i will EVER be gainfully employed again, thats ok,we will make due. i have enough put back to pay my property taxes for a decade or so,the rest we will do without or barter, grow, hunt or forage for.. its just the way it is. no use crying over spilled milk as they say..
If a fucking bank would just give me another fix adjustable rate mortgage, medium to low interest car loan and a high fixed APR adjustable consolidated rate on my credit cards I wouldn’t have to fucking complain…..Arrrggg…. This is BULLSHIT get the fucking bill passed!!!!!! lol
It has just got to be more complex than BUSH, I mean we have 100 Senators and 435 Congressmen. Simpleton stuff
Exactly, can't believe anyone is thinking otherwise. It's called ASTRO TURFING folks, fake paid staffers pretending to be "concerned citizens" and spamming video sites and internet forums/blogs with sad stories and whatnot, open your eyes a little, geez.

well, fuck you very much. i know i've never asked for your pity, and neither did the OP. but obviously you get off on going into threads where people are talking about hard times and put them down for merely discussing their circumstances with others...as if they have no right to do that. why don't you simply pass over such threads? that's right, because you enjoy doing this. and all i did was state a fact. from what i've observed you wouldn't feel sorry for anyone no matter what their situation was. maybe when you lose your own internet connection you'll learn a tiny bit of compassion for others. but then, we won't hear about it, will we? oh darn.

please read the entire thread before responding, "RandyJohnson' is a paid staffer propagandizing for a political candidate, why are you buying into it?
that's a nice theory, but you don't know that for a fact. i'm tired of listening to people putting down other people round here just because they talk about having tough times...like that's just not fucking allowed. then those same people expecting everyone to care when it's their turn.
Yeah, like, I was gonna vote YES for Randy. But then Shane's partisan post here made me change to NO.... NO to Randy. sigh.
The guy wrote the same thing in 1/2 a dozen different threads on as many websites with no follow up posts and no personal information in the user profiles, he's a spammer. you would probably buy into the "african prince needs you're help to hide money" emails too wouldn't you? He's not asking for help, or advise, or even for a conversation, he's just saying "bush caused my problems, feel bad for me, mccain is the same, vote for obama" duh spammer.
