Well of course everything is more expensive, food, gas, food and gas, and gas and food, and healthcare lol

well over the last couple weeks i've been doing little things to help get me by.

i just quit smoking pot to cut down on my budget, saving $40.00 a week, thats about $160.00 more in my pocket every month for my savings. i also quit smoking cigs, and though it's made me almost homicidal to do so lol i'm saving an additional $35 a week by doing so, so all together i've seen an increase of about $300.00 a month just from quitting those two unhealthy expensive habits...

oh, and i'm packing more sandwiches and eating less fast food. healthy and budget savvy, makes me feel good :)

i'm mostly in politics forum, plus work and kids keep me busy

you're right the food is better, making more things from scratch no instead of wasting money on premade meals or 5 min dishes

i [mostly] gave up fast food recently, reducing my annual food spending by something like $1500. i also cut my pot smoking down by about 2/3, saving me around $2000 annually.

doing dishes sucks ass, though. EVERY meal is at least 15 minutes worth of dishes. i hate doing dishes.

    cool

not smoking cigs and not buying pot is saving me about $3900 annually, i didnt realize before i quit how much i was spending on those two things and that doesn't even count the number of times i was grabbing fast food through the week

    bad bad habits lol

i've tried cutting back on the pot and cigs and that never works cause my tolerance usually keeps me spending more eventually, and whats the point in buying just enough weed to not get me high lol

so i did it cold turkey on both

yeah, doing dishes sucks. that's why timmy does dishes, and i cook the food. it's a great arrangement! :D

i really like to cook though, so we've been living off beans and rice mostly as of late... cutting down on our dairy consumption, as dairy is very expensive.

we spent less than 50 dollars on groceries last week, and what we have should last us for a couple weeks to a month at least, with maybe 20 extra bucks for some of the more perishable items.

yeah, i had to create some pretty strict ground rules or else i would have ended up smoking as much as i was before after a couple weeks. so i pretty much force myself to keep it low, and when it stops working i'll just take a day or two off to get me back where i want to be. so far, just cutting back has lowered my tolerance enough that i get high as hell every time i smoke though.

Ooh this thread is going to be fun.:)

Schedule all airplane travel to leave on Tuesday through Thursday. Make sure return dates are the same days.

Shop for travel on multiple web sites.

Stop buying others drinks. If they do not like it they can fuck off.

Buy more weed so I do not spend money on Advil.

Cut business costs by firing worthless workers. Then make the remaining people work harder.

Concentrate on making more money so I can spend more time getting high and hitting on girls, or just wandering around in the jungle.

Do not spend much money on dates until the girl earns it.

Buy Rum at the store and drink it at home so I do not have to have a fucking entourage of people with me all the time, when I bar hop. (Saves gas)

Use even more ruthless negotiating techniques.

Find more ways to exploit the Third World so I can make more money.

    That is a start.

Hey, I am starting to feel better!:D
