I am not well schooled in the verses of bioavailability, so I just want to know if it is worth it to go through the hassle of snorting 10 mgs of diazepam? I do understand this is a very low dose, and that is why I ask. The Mushroom Man
No, snorting benzo's is a waste, IMO. They have a very high oral bioavailability, and there have been issues regarding the fact that since benzo's (most of them, anyways) are not water soluble, they don't get absorbed through your mucus membranes, and instead just drip down the back of your throat as if you just took them orally to begin with. If you feel anything more, it's most likely due to placebo. Just eat them.
I've heard of this, but I never understood the reasoning behind it. Is there any proof that taking it that way makes it better?
its true what joker said, atleast with klonopin. it might work better with all benzos, but I wouldnt do it with alprazolam, that shit tastes so nasty...
I like letting my Ativan dissolve under the tongue, it tastes like sugar. I don't really notice much difference than swallowing though, except it might come on a few minutes faster.
