Coming next week...a couple questions

Any special events anyone can reccommend between October 21st and November 1st?

Will I be OK with a leather jacket and scarf this time of year?

Also, are the leaves on the trees changing right now, or have I missed it??

I'll be in Amsterdam from the 15th to the 18th (after that I'll be travelling to other places in Europe), so our trips just miss eachother.

I was in Amsterdam last year around this time, and it wasn't too cold most of the time. It rained a bit, so definitely bring an umbrella. Other than that a leather jacket should be fine. Bring a couple sweaters also.

Not sure about the leaves - their are not many trees in Amsterdam to speak of anyway, from what I remember... not in the heart of the city, at least!

 

"so definitely bring an umbrella" actually they sell them there so that may not be necessary!...the weather? check this link http://www.met-office.gov.uk/worldcity/amsterdam.html and the only intersting leaves in Amsterdam are the ones you can smoke!...just kidding...like the previous poster said there are not too many trees in the city centre...maybe try a google search on The Vondelpark.

 

ah, vondelpark! when i wandered through there, it was such a nice day out... sitting on a bench, smoking some joints - fabulous. it was around mid april when that was, so of course it was probably warmer weather
