I lived in Woodstock a few years ago, and even though I saw a lot of posing going on I was nonetheless impressed with the level of committed activism I saw in the area as well. I'm on the other side of Kingston now, and curious about peace/social justice efforts in the area. I know there were groups sending busses of people to protests and rallies in NY and DC when I was living in Woodstock, but I was unable to participate. I would appreciate contact with peace and justice groups in the Kingston/New Paltz area.
Hi,SweetBriar I'm not in a big position to participate with activism group efforts much due to family obligations.Wish I could sometimes.Though I'd like to hear of any protest/marches or anything that maybe taking place.I live in a small town a little south of Albany, and I know there are things happening at the capital from time to time.I don't hear about much though. There are some things I'd be a part of if I only knew.If you hear of anything happening around here please let me know.I like Woodstock alot too although I have'nt been there in awhile. My closest friend lives in Shandaken,he's there all the time.I really feel I need to do more espicially with the alarming state of the us.I think about it all the time.I hate what's going on.I feel somewhat powerless over the situation and I want to go crazy. Anyway,If you know of anything pm me and let me know. Good luck, May Peace Reign..eace:
