    yay. now we can get wooden arrows.....did you hear about all the pork they added to the damn thing? an extra 150 billion in add-ons to get the votes. you get what you want included so you will vote yes. its all a crock...

    yeah, well without that motherload of pork as a bribe the congress might have voted their true opinions. And we sure wouldn't want that to happen.

    i dont vote. its a crock of shit. we are f'd no matter what. if i wasnt married i would so live in a bluebird bus and work for cash off the books. (as it is i am chained to a desk 9 hours a day...)

    Yeah, there's no way I'm voting for either party candidates. They're the senators who wrote up that abomination! If I vote I'm going third party, I know it's a "wasted" vote but what vote isn't in this government of lies and corruption?

    the "bailout" passes and the market proceeds to go from 150 points up just before they passed the legislation to close at 157 points down at closing.

    a 300 point drop in less than 4 hours after the news broke that it had passed..

    what does that tell you?

    My theory is that traders didn't think it was going to help all that much and so they were going to sell into any rally that came after the vote, especially since approval was so widely expected. As it turned out everyone was thinking the same so it just fell after the vote.

    That's market psychology for you.

    yeah i read a lot about a expected rally and short selling blah blah.. i really dont know enough to try and figure it out past saying its obvious the bailout aint going to help anything in the long run..
