    Very interesting that's for sure.

It really got me thinking when he started talking about enlightenment and how none of us know what it actually is....when we claim to know even just a little bit, all that is is our personal will, or hope that it will be something along the lines of what we want (ie. personal will). I related that to peoples notion of God, Jah, Buddha, Allah etc...etc....that's all those notions really are...what WE want/hope!. Perfect example being that God was literally made in our image....the ultimate portrayal of human vanity and our personal will at its finest.

As always, many thanks for sharing man.

(Oh yea I almost forgot to mention, that's why Sadhus often times have a ritual "death" ceremony when becoming a Sadhu.)

What enlightenment is can't be explained in words. It's not a "what"... not a thing... not an experience. The most anyone can do is point to it, or perhaps point to what is NOT it.

If we're sensitive we can pick up on the energy of the enlightened one as being inherently peaceful and nonresistant. It's a quality of Being. But the way in which enlightened ones communicate differ. The style and the words used are all different. If one focuses on words and style (the outer wrapping), they will miss the teaching itself, which is the actual present. :)
