That's a little crazy. But in our defence, our governmental structures aren't defined by reverse Darwinism....

Why should anyone be forced to breath other peoples smoke?

I think if people want the service... they should be prepared to not puff a ciggie for a few hours.

Noone has ever died of NOT smoking.

yup its not hard not to smoke for an hour or 2, or let your home help guy/girl wheel you out onto the porch or something.. in fact that bit of fresh air may do some of them some good.

i think it is fair enough, definately. most people get there rite to fresh non smokey air while at work and so the same should be for these people. i thaught it was a bit strange 'cause normaly my friends who smoke purely out of mannors stop smoking when i'm about just 'cause they know i don't like it. and so if you invite some one into your home so they can help you then surely it is simple respect not to smoke without asking if they mind or not.

Yeh I was a smoker... and still do occasionally sucumb when out and others are smoking, but totally respect peoples right to fresh air.

In fact I am pro banning smoking in public places like bars too.

It would help a lot of people give up I think.

Yay! Hey you're from Brighton? I just got back from visiting my friends down there this weekend! Lots of fun!:)

well i dont know about the whole no smoking in pubs thing.. i know it harms people.. but people get drunk and beat people up.. and that harms them too.. so it will just esculate.. first smoking then drinking then pool and finally laughing and talking...
    ... then scrabble.

scrabble is dangerouse, once there is a tiff over weather the word is spelt right or not, some one gets out the dictionary, and man those books are heavy if you get hit by an angry player who just found out there word was wrong.

padded books, its the only way. Padded books with round corners so there are no sharp edges.
