Well I've been looking a job for about two months now and haven't gotten ANYTHING. I've been really trying too, I've called every place and asked about my application and sometimes even just flat out asked if I could have an interview. Not a lot of places are hiring though. Right now I'm thinking I should try for another week or two and if I continue to get NOTHING then I'll just smoke from now until December, then quit and get a job before summer starts. The thing I wanted to know is; exactly how long will it take to get clean after three months of light smoking? I don't like getting high that often, at the most I'll probably do it once a week, so it would be about twelve times total until I quit. I have a bit of fat on me, but I also work out everyday, so I really don't know how long it will take for me to get clean. Can anyone help me on this?
Generally speaking, and assuming you stop altogether, it will usually take about 30 days to work out of your system but it varies depending on the individual and some drug tests are more sensitive than others, being able to pickup on smaller trace amounts and meaning it may take longer than the 30 days to get all the trace out of your sytem. To play it safe I'd allow 2 months but realisitically you could probably get by with a shoter period than that.
BTW, a hair follicle test is usually more sensitive than a urine test. So if you know beforehand which type your employer will be using it will give you a heads up on how long to wait.
its taken 30 days for some people and a week for others. since youre not smoking very often and ork out it probalby wont be very long.
