''Tagging'' has been in the papers alot recently. And is it really as much of a nuisance as they make it out to be?? Whats your opinion? It would be cool if some ''taggers'' could hit us up with their side of the story. I live in Mangere. And the graffiti out here pisses me off. Simply because none of it looks good. Except for the legal graffiti on most of the dairys.. I catch the train from Middlemore to Britomart quite alot, and to be honest I enjoy seeing multicoloured walls. And seeing massive letters on the side of the motorway is interesting when your driving. But thats just my opinion... Btw this is my first thread on any kind of forum. So soz if it's pointless I just felt like writing about something Peace NZ!
I dont like graffiti on fences and shit. It just makes the neighbourhood look bad. And some little punk doing some shitty little scribble on some fence isnt art If its an inner city public wall or whatever then I'm all for it. I still think the scribbles are hideous but the proper pictures are great. I've never had anything of mine tagged, but I will be furious if some little **** does one day
I saw this japanese grafitti in town a while ago- best tagging I evar saw. It was lotus flowers with big transforming robots, it was epic, but they painted over it. But apart from those robots, I very much disslike graffiti- even professional graffiti- I can't even read what it says.
Im not much into it either, but isn't there more pressing issues to be concerned with than some kid spraying a wall?
^haha, no thats not such a big problem here. The absolute worst thing ever, 100x worse than graffiti, is when people smash bus stop windows. That really pisses me off.
well down in southland we dont get that art grafitti it normally some wanabee gangster kid writng crips or some stupid shit oh and then those ass holes with the swat stikas but hey my opinion. I have to say to me the most annoying thing is when some bastard steals the badge on your car grrr that annoys me
