Just thought I'd start up a thread devoted to my hero Arlo Guthrie. One of my favorite singers/songwriter/storytellers of all time. Im hoping to see him in May, but its still a bit of a drive I'd have to make and obviously its hard to say where I'll be in may at this point as well. But Im dying ot see him, I never have and it breaks me up inside

If you are going to be traveling this summer, plan to be at the FREE yes, FREE Woody Guthrie Folk Fest in Okemah, Okla in July. Have some $ back, because in town are a couple paid shows that support the fest year after year. Arlo always plays one of those and out at the Pastures of Plenty as well.
