hi everyone (i apolagise for my lack of knowledge on this beforehand!) its my boyfriends birthday soon, and he wants a guitar box. i dont know if thats the right name for it? what he wants is a box to record his guitar riffs on, then edit and add drums and extras to. if anyone has any favourite brands, or even the real name for this sort of thing then please let me know! thanks
You mean a loop pedal or something? I've got a Boss one that I really like. I've played gigs with it, and even with just a guitar, I can play all the parts and sound like a whole band. Mine is a few years old and I know the newer loop pedals (I've mostly seen Boss and Digitech) can do a lot more. It's good for playing live, but editing the tracks isn't easy. If it's just for recording, there are lots of small, high quality recording devices that aren't too expensive.
