    Heart's Desire

If you never knew me then, then you'll never know me now

Your vengance was sweet, short and cold, with a last kiss from me to you

Do you hate the love that grows? do you love me?

Would you laugh about it now?

I know that, I can live with out it

You will learn to love me, even if it kills us

    Can you love?

I will speak of sorrows, and ingest my tears

Promise not to swim that deep, promises to find and give my heart to you

But our love will never come home, the war rages on and, on and on...

    Do you love?

I know that I can't live with out it, but I will live with out it

I can see our empty eyes, destination so pure inside

Disapearing with my tears, but the end is never the end

Do you love me? Could you love me? I know that I can live with out it all
Can you love me? Please love me? Do you love me? Could you love me?
    Can you love?

One of the precious things about love is losing it. Being suddenly aware that something large in our lives has disappeared. And wanting, wanting desperately to wake up and feel it's never changed. The language of the heart is universal. Write on!
