    Got a clone issue.

I've successfully cloned plants on several occasions, but I'm stumped on why my recent attempt is kicking my butt.

Previously I've cloned from clones...(not the best program but it's worked)...and had good results.

Now, however, I've taken clones from a multi-month mother, put them in rock-wool & Olivia's solution (all same as before), and the darn things just sit there looking green (one week) but don't seem to be "getting at it" (as far as roots, etc.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks to all...

try putting a heating pad set on the lowest setting under clones. The little bit of extra warmth help roots take hold.

Thanks, turned out they were just not right with their initial cut and size. I bagged those and started again...with smaller cuts and not so much moisture.

I do have a heat mat...but it doesn't have a thermostat so I just monitor it and sometimes raise the seed tray up a bit on little wood strips.

make sure your knife is crazy sharp when you make the cut, do it at a 45 degree angle and into the rooting gel as fast as possible then into the rock wool.
