urgent information needed...please help

im looking for some info on where i shud be taken the temp about in my handbuilt growbox, temp is different between the bottom and top, and hard 2 control the now because the box has no extraction on it yet which will be happening very shortly,its 85 on the bottom and bout 95 at the top i hav a fan running the same amount of time as when the light is on and hav 2 keep the door open on the box to keep heat at 85, but the gf doesnt approve of a 600 watt orange glow blastin out it, and shuts the door inturn the temp hits bout 95 sometimes close 2 a hundred, im growing from the seed and has jst been planted a couple of days ago, im worried that the temp been up at 95 has maybe stressed the seedling root and wont grow, i know it will prob take a week or two before anything starts growing out the soil, i am new to this but very interested in growing my own little babies, hav done a lot of research on it but still learning, any information would be much appreciated.

Yea you gotta get those temps down.. 100 degrees on a seedling spells death.
