Cops online, don't they have anything better to do

so I know it's not the best way to go about it, but I posted an ad on craigs list for some herbal help, and I got a reply, so I am like oh ok sounds like you can help, he says yeah gives me his number, my guy has been hard to find lately but he called me that day and so I went with him since I knew him already. That was a week ago

I am thinking of hitting the new guy up, but when I check my email there is a new email and it asks me if i still need help I say what the hell and reply yes

He gives me the SAME phone number as before. They came from 2 diffrent Gmail accounts and one of them was "rod420" and the other was boulderstoner, I would think the cops have something better to do I mean come on I live in Denver,

I'm glad I waited to call now, that is just too sketch, something is up with that number no more CL for me,

 

prank it from a payphone or with skype. Or send it my way so i can have some fun with it (google maps of Denver street names and have him meet me at a random street)

 

yeah dude finding pot through online sources is probably the worst way to go. cops certainly do patrol craigslist looking for people to sell to or buy from. read this story:

i wouldn't touch that dude you met on craigslist with a 10 ft pole. just be patient and wait for the people you personally know to come through. not worth any risk.

 

yeah I know not smart but I figured if I met him in denver and bought under an O, since im over 21 I would get a $100 fine, thats it, if caught. by the city law under an o if you are over 21 is legal, it is just under state law that they can get ypu/ So most cops wont bother. guess not

i want to call him and just say some random shit like "excuse me I am looking for a big chunk of tire iron can you help, then if he says what Ill just say oh im sorry wrong number.

Give it a call from a prepaid or a pay phone.. you can get a virgin mobile prepaid for $15-30. Easier to just go to a pay phone tho.. call that shit, ask him to meet and how you can identify him.

Seeing as he doesn't know what you look like, i'd scope out the meeting spot when he shows up.. use your best judgement.

I will say i've met a few chill people online, 1 even from Craigslist.. but you gotta be REALLY careful. And i just met up to smoke w/ the guy.. we didnt even discuss buying/selling ANYTHING until after a few meetups and chilling out together smokin.

Never buy from ANYONE you meet online, it is just stupid. Come on guys use common sense, you might get lucky or you might get locked up. I mean if you are a fiend and can't take a day or two off from smoking then you have a problem and should be locked up for even being desperate enough to try it. And even if you get lucky, your still a fiend just because you can't control yourself (come on guys it's ganja not crack).

I know you mean well and aren't meaning to offend anyone, but, yeah, I can't go without for a few days, because I do have a problem. You can call it fibromyalgia, you can call it clinical endocannibinoid deficiency, or whatever else you want.

My point is that there are some folks out there who aren't looking for a toke just for the good times. There are real people out there in need. I don't condone looking online for a source, but if I am to be "locked up" for being "desperate enough" to treat my medical condition, then so be it!

I know you meant well, I'm just trying to get the message out there. Glad to hear it worked out for the guy who started the topic. Sorry if anyone took this the wrong way! Again, I do agree, looking online isn't the best idea.

 

A cop can offer to sell you weed, and if you accept, you are guilty of attempting to purchase weed. There is no entrapment there. You were not forced into the action. You agreed to purchase an illegal substance from someone, who happened to be a cop.

 

Wow, i believe i owe those of you who i offended a big big apologie! I really didn't mean to come off as mean or insulting i just would never want to see a fellow ganja toker to end up behind bars and was trying to be serious. Again sorry peeps i was only trying to say it isn't worth trying to go on the internet to find it and it's hard to sound the way you want online. And i only meant problem as if you are using it recreationally and cant go a day without it recreationally.
