I don't like loudness, ever. talkativeness is alright if the person can manage to be consistently interesting and not irritating. this is a rare quality, though. I think Mitch Hedberg had it right when he said that the best thing to say to compulsive talkers is "hey man, you want some taffy?"
i'll love you quietly. all night long... argh, i know you're a guy; i just liked the line so i had to use it.
I much prefer quiet people. I just simply can't get along with someone who doesn't know when to shut the hell up and that's what I think of when I think about loud and outgoing people. You can be plenty friendly and pleasant without being obnoxious and loud about it.
As long as a person is kind I really don't give a damn about how loud or quiet they are. I think its worth noting that sometimes when people don't pay you attention its because they are waiting for you to take some interest in them first. Or, they are afraid of saying something really stupid because you appear to be very dignified and smart. Those that do judge you for being quiet are usually stupid and insecure and aren't worth your time.
One of my good friends rarely ever talks. It's sometimes annoying. haha He will just sit and listen to everyone else and not say a damn word. It makes me work harder to make him laugh or find something that will make him blab.
I am very shy unless I am comfortable around someone, after which I am annoyingly loud and obnoxious. I don't really feel I fit in with the quiet ones.
yeah i'm really quiet and shy, unless i'm comfortable with the person.. that's totally different but yet i'm extremely opinionated and can't help like jumping on people sometimes when they say things i don't agree with... but people wanna hang out with me all the time, so i can't be too bad hahaha
"quiet" ppl are sorta mysterious - they keep everything inside still waters run deep oh yeah kinda curious to investigate them but too much effort is needed
