The man is about to do 4 years for having some weed on him in Dubai. Their laws are archaic and draconian in UAE. Another man was sentenced to 4 years for having a microscopic grain of weed on the bottom of his shoe. A granule smaller than that of a sugar granule. Let this country know how fucked up they are.

Are you sure about that thing on the bottom of the guy's shoe? That just seems impossible. Did someone go up to this guy, tell him to take his shoe off, get a microscope, figure out it was weed and put him in jail? I mean it just sounds unrealistic that's all.

Yea... wow their laws over there are crazy.. while ours are sane and logical

the problems are here within our country not outside of it.. when will people realize this.. adopting overseas babies.. sending money to overseas charities.. fighting other countries wars.. while our babies grow up homeless and in orphanages and people are homeless because there is no funding for section 8 housing.. or shelters..

maybe you should dig up one of the millions of harmless criminals the US has arrested and petition that.. some medical marijuana user that is sitting in jail because his medicine is illegal in the eyes of the federal law..

On the 19 February 2008 he was sentenced to four years imprisonment, to be followed by immediate deportation [1][2] but was pardoned 10 months into his sentence.

Pardoned and already out! Althought the numbers do not add up if this is October and he was sentenced in February then 10 months after then would be December. What do you expect, it's Wickipedia and not always accurate.
