No one has a list of what subscriptions her office or home receives? To quote the interview Katie Couric: I am interested what does she read? The Outdoorsman, Parents, Woman's Day, Family Circle, Wall Street Journal, US News, Congressional Record, Time and Newsweek??? She was interested in how to ban books in her local libray, does she read? I know Alaska is part of the US, but I am beginning to doubt if she's a great example of the citizens in that state.
I bet there are marketing firms that know exactly what subscriptions I buy. How come no press on what she subscribes to?
Hahaha. I posted this a few days ago. I found it amusing, too. She was basically asked to name 1 magazine or newspaper she frequents and she couldn't do just that.
Sorry Ari haven't been around for a few days, and I guess I didn't go back far enough. I'd respect her if she had said she didn't want to single out any one publication, but that's not what she did. And then to go on the defensive about Alaska. Most of us have relatives or know someone that has worked there. We know it's not a foreign country or that removed. Shit isn't it our last defense against the great threat of Putin the evil? With his head floating over our national air space?
Sarah palin book list; Moose shooter guide. Foriegn policy for the complete idiot guide, Karl rove hand book on ethics, first aid guide for geriatrics...
That exchange with Katie Couric was revealing. About half of Americans do not read a single book after finishing school. Sarah Palin might be in that half.
Plenty of people don't read newspapers. A better question might have been: What websites do you visit for information? Plenty of intelectuals speak of what they are reading. However, Being a Govenor, having a large family and with a grandaughter on the way she might not read anything at all. Or else she reads a homemaker magazine just to decompress a lil. The Princess just pages through all of these catolouges and won't read anything of substance complaining: My eyes are tired. These catolouges just fire-up consumerist fantasies about cruizes, new furniture and clothing. Perhaps Guv Palin is in that place?
The writing on the wall - she's through :cheers2: ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A legislative committee investigating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has found she unlawfully abused her authority in firing the state's public safety commissioner. The investigative report concludes that a family grudge wasn't the sole reason for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan but says it likely was a contributing factor. The Republican vice presidential nominee has been accused of firing the commissioner to settle a family dispute. Palin supporters have called the investigation politically motivated. Hotwater
Doggone it mister, when I look at good ol' Sarah I know as a hard-workin' regular American that even though she don't read any a those silly ol' newspapers with crazy, elitist things in 'em like "sentences" or "news" or "information," by golly she can read what's in my heart. She knows I'm a maverick too, like John McCain, and I'm not gonna read just cuz some high-fallutin' "teacher" tells me to -- you betcha.
