I love Maine!!! My fiance is from there. I'm planning on going out there to live with him for a while next year (twill be the summer before our wedding- sos we can find a place to call home and get all settled before the big day). One of my friends from high school was always talking about it and saying how much better it is than where I live now, and I would always roll my eyes and go "then why don't you just go back there?" Now, I've spent some time there, I know exactly what she was talking about. It's something like I have never experienced in my dirt-poor cesspool-of-ignorance town. Things just seem so... settled, and... pleasant and shit. I've only seen Wells (his hometown), Kennebunkport and Portland so far, but that's good enough for me.
