i have 6 pills of hydrocodone/apap 10/650 500. now i have never extcracted anything before and i was wondering how i could do it with household items. could someone please help me out with this? i just want the hydro!!
First, crush the pills into a very fine powder-no chunks. a mortar and pestle would be best, but a tablespoon and a hard surface works just fine. Put this powder in a small, clear drinking glass. After that, cover the powder with about 20ml of hot water. You won't need to boil it-just hot water from the tap. Stir the mixture well. Next place the mixture in the freezer and leave it there until it is very cold. I;m not sure how long this will take, but just make sure it doesnt freeze. when you take the glass out of the freezer, you will notice that there will be a layer of poder at the bottom. this is the apap and all the other crap you dont want. the hydrocodone will be suspended in the liquid, making the liquid look slightly cloudy. The next step is filtration: You will need a funnel, a cone-shaped coffee filter and some sort of container that the funnel can sit on top of. put the filter inside the funnel. put the funnel on top of the container. Stir the mixture and pour it through the funnel. when this filtration is complete pour another 20ml of cold water through the funnel. if done correctly, your container will contain water, hydrocodone and a very, very small amount of apap.
