    depends on the person really.
sometimes i can tell when someone is hurting by lookin at their eyes, i can usually tell when someone is worried/bothered and i can tell when someone is lying...but i have to be able to know them a bit too,

I think you kinda see their heart. I couldn't be with someone who didn't have eyes that provided insight as to who they were.

I see existence... consciousness... I see what might be labeled by others as their 'soul'

true, it does vary with the person....with me it coincides with their depth as a human being.....many (generally the little minded) there is nothing or very little to see....others offer much beauty

people always think I am lying because i get really nervous when anyone asks me even the simpilist question and I stop making eye contact and stutter a little bit. The funny thing is that I only lie on very rare ocassions when it benefits another.

i have a difficult time making eye contact with most people. Usually when I talk to people I have just met or people that I have to respect I fidget alot and bite my lip.....

Hehe I'd probably believe you, much can be seen in a face, and eyes I believe are THE most expressive part of anyone, though as MirakulouslyDead said, in some people there is not much to see...

ooo...I can tell AlOT by looking at a persons eyes--they truly are windows to the soul. I'm good at reading facial expressions, even the slightest details can give a person away. For instance, I can tell if a person has been crying even if they stopped half an hour ago. The easiest thing to tell through the eyes for me is how intelligent someone is...

I make it a point to "see" more than most people can. I can't stand it when people won't maintain eye contact with me while communicating. I may be shy, but I have no problem looking into a person's eyes. I feel I am a good judge of character based on a person's eyes and eye contact. Whoever said eyes are the window to one's soul...yes, mhmmmm, yes.
