Okay, so I read this book. Was anyone on these forums involved in the psychedelic scene back then? Ken Kesey, the Merry Pranksters, Further, the Acid Tests, these are the most utopian and fascinating things I've ever read about in my life. The way they lived makes sense to me, in a world where nothing makes sense and everything seems absurd. I've always been deeply moved by the 1960s and the experiences those people were having, that's exactly what I want for my life. Was it really as good as the book makes it out to be? If it was, I don't think I can ever let it go. It's become like my Bible, a sacred text, a manual on how to live boundlessly. But the times have changed. We're never going back. I just want to know what it was really like.
