Hello everyone I found this forum on a google search a few days ago and had to join. What a great place this is. Anyways, my name is Auston and I live in Florida. Im growing my dreads the old fashioned way and its been about 5-6 months since I combed or conditioned. heres a picture for anyone interested a few more in my profile.
What's up Auston? Looking good, I love seeing people grow dreads the 'old-fashioned way.' Cheers man :cheers2:
im ganna have to disagree on that one only cuz i like oranges. florida oranges > california oranges. but other than that, ya ur right. u have 4 seasons, a better ocean and a bigger Disney. i've never left florida actually.
i always thought the disney in floriday was bigger and better, never been there just thought so cause it's named disney world and ours is disney land lol. i think florida and california are both awesome, they're just kinda similair in a few ways. go to mexico and buy a orange, they don't dye them and they're green lol, it threw me off at first i was like woah what is this
hah, I've never left the state either. I'm almost certain though that California is not a giant humid swamp like here
it gets pretty gross here. We get the heat plus humidity so when it's 90 out it feels like 110. I work near a river and our humidity meter stays at 130% which I didn't know was possible. It rains alot too.
when i was in louisiana sometimes i would be inside an airconditioned building and when i would step outside with my sunglasses they would fog up so bad i couldnt see through them and i remember a few times i popped the a/c on in my rentalcar and steam came out of the vents, it was crazy. it was the first time i ever experienced humidity like that
ya i live in Palm Bay, so its not as swampy and crap. but theres parts here that are undeveloped and theres like 200 mosquitos per square inch (not literally). but its still hot as balls. and the oranges that grow at the orange grove around here arent green and they definitely arent dyed because we sneak back there and take them right off the trees when the people arent working. Disney World is deffinetly smaller, i wouldnt suggest leaving Disney Land to go to Disney World. but Islands of Adventure/Universal are pretty nifty. and Busch Gardens, but i think Cali has some, dont quote me on that tho.
are there alot of dreadies there? not in my town. i saw 2 at walmart the other day (i hate walmart but when i cant find something i need at a different place, well there i am at walmart) but then i noticed one was my ex (he wasn't dreaded when i was with him, what a butthole) so i was like yeah maybe i'll say hi next time he didn't seem too interested n coming up to me and saying hi so i left him alone
well theres a lot of Hatians, Jamaicans and other kinds of black people. but as far as white people with dreads, I've seen like 3 total that ive seen and not including me. i dont remember where i saw one of them. and the other two are brother and sister, the guy did my dreads and thats how i met his sister.
i wanna live in cali, but i wanna go to florida. but then, i wanna go everywhere and live everywhere.. so yknow
does anuone remembver what this threads about? wasnt there a new gyt joining us? hey bro great to meet ya glad your dreadin the best way id haye livin in fla.,or cali (except maybe northern but close enough to oregin to be oregon)\
i live in the heart of northern cali, why dont you like it here? i love it. there's lots of farmland, no big polluted cities, the people are great, low crime, earth/green friendly, close to beautiful montains and ocean, the people are for the most part open minded, i love it here
