This remake was originally slated for a 2009 release, but was delayed to February of next year, and then finally April 3rd. It will star Benicio Del Toro as Larry Talbot, and like the original, he will be wearing make-up, the only CGI involved will be during transformations. Here are some pics and a trailer: http://www.movienewz.com/blog/2008/07/31/wolfman-2009-trailer/
I was an extra in this film, spent five freezing cold nights in Bourne Wood dressed as a gypsy man with a big gun running away from vigilantes and werewolves with Benicio.... A few pics
That's really cool, man, did you find out any secret info? Btw, I wish they'd release it earlier, 172 days is too long to wait.
Anyone else here planning on going to see this? For anyone who thinks it may be bad, check out the trailer I posted if you haven't done so already. This movie is going to kick all kinds of ass.
I'm planning on going on the first night in London with the other gypsy men, should be a good little reunion even if the film turns out to be shit. I did find out a few secrets but they're, erm, secret
I highly doubt this film will turn out to be shit. I've watched the trailer a few times, and it certainly seems like it'll at least be on par with the original. Hell, it could surpass it. As for your secrets, keep 'em, I don't want anything spoiling this movie for me.
Just watched the trailer, you're right it does look cool, spotted a couple of my friends in it too....
Sweet, it's still pretty awesome you got to be in the movie. Did you get to talk with Del Toro or see him in full Wolf Man make up?
No the scenes we shot were before he became the werewolf. I believe we were being attacked by the original werewolf, which del Toro shoots at from a distance. Didn't get to talk to him, he spent most of his time in his warm trailer I think and just came out at the last second to do his lines. Spoke to a few of the other actors on it, though no one massively famous....
That sucks...wait, did you meet Emily Blunt? If you did, you are a lucky man (please tell me you did)!
That sucks, man. From what I can see they are doing all the post production work now, so that means adding in the special effects, adding in the music, etc., and then they have to promote the film, so these six months are going to be hella long.
