Why do people say thing that hurt you

and preface it by saying "i know this is gonna hurt you" ugg....

And then tell you that they love you, becuase you have always been there for them, and you really care about them... but it means nothing because you really do love them, and they know that, but they just want to be friends... it doent even make sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

it never will. its stupid.

 

cause they are weak.

 

And then they call you at three in the morning, knowing you are gonna be asleep because you have to be at work at eight. just to say goodnight

 

because 99% of the people in this world are fucking idiots

some people just like some drama in their life.

 

true that some people grew up with so much drama in there life, that they aren't in their confort zone with out drama, so therefore when everything is going good for them they have to create drama just to feel comfortable.

it sounds real strange yes but there really are folks out there like that.

 

People you have allowed to play in your garden know where all the gates are.

And which ones you are likely to keep unlocked.

People who know you are better equipped to push your buttons. They know where they are.

True, those situations suck, but would you prefer that they lie about how they feel and submit to your affections and not be happy with you in what would likely be a short lived, friendship killing relationship?

I mean if you truly love them and not just your vision of "how wonderful it could all be", isn't it better to have the friendship than to loose them from your life altogether?
