What is the true sign of the unbeliever?
Obviously people aren't going to tattoo 666 on their bodies, so what mark will the true infidel carry?

Maybe they should all be made to wear big pointed hats with a large D printed on?

A tattoo of MOM on their forearm. MOM is 666 on your phone. Tell your mom.

Some unbelievers have tattoos that say 'I <heart> mom','I love mom' or mom with a heart and an arrow through it.

Just remember, you have your heavenly father and your devil mom. Maybe you should watch psycho for some insight into the number of the beast. Anyway, this is why many fundamentalists approve of the oppression of women, because they know that their mom represents the devil. I wonder how many Hell's Angels have tats of MOM? Be an interesting statistic.

Beware of Moms!!!! If you see a mom, go to church and do three hail mary... umm.. Ohh no!!! Jesus had a mom!!! If Jesus is the son of his mom, HE IS THE ANTICHRIST!!!!

One good version I heard from the Jehovah Witnesses went like this.

In the bible 6 represents an "Imperfect" number, like 7 is a "Complete" number meaning total (as God creating the earth in 7 days). 12 means an organisation (12 tribes of Israel) ect:

666 means TRIPLY "Imperfect"..meaning in short, thier heads will be filled with complete rubbish....The mark of the beast means the marked ones mind will be filled with "Imperfect thoughts".......

    Guess that means me ?

The Mark will be on the Head an the Hands. The language (like most in Revelation) is symbolic. In Jewish culture of the time, the Head represented thought and the Hand represented action. So what John was saying is that Christians refuse impure thought and action.

Just to be clear, the Great Tribulation already happened in 70 AD, so this talk about the Mark of the Beast in regards to any Great Tribulation that is supposedly coming is purely hypothetical (and probably woefully inaccurate).

The idea of dispensationalism is less than 200 years old (19th Century).

If the great tribulation already happened, then the kingdom of Christ would already be set up on earth. I don't see Christ here and everything in perfect harmony, as he said it would be when he established his new kingdom on earth, do you?

Not according to the Holy Ghost, and not according to the word of God

So you think everyone is studying another bible than yours?

Plenty of historians have accounted that John was speaking of the roman empire in revalations.

Now if you take the bible too literally you will disagree because the world wasn't destroyed and christians wern't all taken up to heaven. But what you have to remember is that a man wrote the book, not god, and it is arguable that he was divinely inspired. He could have easily just had something against the roman empire. Which of course he did...

All Bible's say the same thing, without the Holy Ghost, it would just be another book.

Which doesn't match up with scripture at all. There is also a verse about the wisdom of the world verses the wisdom of the Lord.
