You think if you keep bringing up those lies, more people will believe them?

Sarah Palin is unable to answer simple questions intelligently. She's too busy looking for openings to spill hatred and party lines.

McCain has demonstrated he can't operate coherently under pressure, and now we are faced with not only his erratic behavior, but the shrill blathering of an shallow woman with big hair. Choice...there is no big choice now. The republicans sunk their own boat.

If they have no knowledge that the Bush Doctrine has no universal meaning, in fact it has four basic aspects to it and has morphed quite a bit since Charles Krauthammer first coined the term, they may come to your conclusion.

Otherwise, they may see that Gibson showed his own ignorance of the Bush Doctrine in asking such a ridiculous question. Here's an anology that may perhaps clarify:

Gibson: Do you agree with waving off icing in hockey?
    Palin: In which respect, Charlie?
Gibson: The puck - well, what do you - what do you interpret it to be?

Clearly, Gibson has no idea the conditions under which icing is waved off.

Gibson showed more ignorance (or the same amount, or less; but we'll not know because of his own ignorance) of the Bush Doctrine than Palin. This is the state of professional journalism? Because, that is disappointing. I sure would have liked to know more about what Palin thought of the Bush Doctrine. Too bad Gibson messed up. Now, I still don't know.

The only conclusion I can reasonably reach based on that aspect of the interview is that it was a waste of my time to watch that part, thanks to the ignorance of a journalist.

Are you fucking kidding me? What is it, are liberals just not paying attention these days? You have maryjohn thinking Katie Couric gave the "Bush Doctrine" interview, BooBoo and Gardener clearly not comprehending what I posted. Do I really need to break it down for you? Let me quote what I said, and please read slowly. Stop. Clear your mind. Begin reading. Think about what you are about to read.
Make any more sense? Let me break it down.

Which is people making up bullshit stories.

Stories like Palin shooting caribou by the hundreds, having an affair with Todd's best friend, etc...

I am referring to a rumor. A rumor that is along the line of what was said about Palin.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) -- Allegations that Sen. Barack Obama was educated in a radical Muslim school known as a "madrassa" are not accurate, according to CNN reporting.

Insight Magazine, which is owned by the same company as The Washington Times, reported on its Web site last week that associates of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, had unearthed information the Illinois Democrat and likely presidential candidate attended a Muslim religious school known for teaching the most fundamentalist form of Islam.

    Full story.

The reason we shouldn't just write the whole thing off is that walking away is not an act of neutrality. By walking away and not voting, you help the Republicans.

ok, let me answer this without checking wikipedia, in plain english.

The Bush Doctrine means we can invade a country preëmptively with flimsy evidence.

    The preëmptive part is salient.

I confused two interviews, where the candidate gave similar performances. It is the only two interviews she has given. Fewer than Joe the Plumber. Apparently, confusing these two interviews has discredited me.

What does it take to discredit Sarah Palin?

The United States faces serious problems without easy solutions. That does not mean that the choice between Barack Obama and John McCain is meaningless. If Obama gets elected things might get better for most Americans. If McCain gets elected, things will certainly get worse.
