I must say you dreads look AWESOME to me. The loose-hairs will probably resolve themselves eventually but I don't think the other suggestions would hurt.

I go to someone every 3 months and get my stuff squared away. I actually like the halo effect I get from all the loose hairs, but they start grabbing each other and then I get more loose hairs when I separate the stuck stuff. (I am not explaining this well, I know.)

I do have short dreads right now, though, so it may be worse in that arena for me.

Your dreads are amazing and you are a beautiful person. :)

My partner managed to crotchet one of his dreads so much it snapped off. He's chilled out with the maintenance now and it's not the end of the world, his dreads still look good. I can't crotchet for life! It gets me so frustrated! So i don't crotchet and my dreads don't seem to mind much hehe bit frizzy but like i said i'm hoping this will resolve in time with out the use of a crotchet hook.

I also say no to crochet. I didn't even notice loose hairs in the pics until you brought it up. I was looking and was thinking great dreads, I wouldn't change a thing. I think you just notice them. Just them go, continue there natural journey. I don't think crocheted dreads look good anyway. You and your hair is too beautiful to mess up. It's kinda like "if it aint broke don't fix it" kinda things for me. Crochet will only create many more broken fuzzy loose hairs down the road and definitely change the looks of your already awesome dreads.

Try using some pure aloe vera, from the plant, just get a leaf, cut it in 2 and squeeze the gel out and massage into your dread and loose hair:)
You have the most amazing dreads!
Keep it up, your an inspiration:)

I found the best way to make those little hairs disappear is to get a crochet hook (maybe one that is 2.75) and pull them through your dreads. they will tighten up faster as a result. Good luck! -peace!
